Lead Craftsman / Shop Manager

If you answered yes, we want to talk to you! We are looking for a self-motivated craftsman to help build our quality, hand-crafted furniture and deliver it into the hands of happy clients. We need this craftsman to also be a leader who is focused on the growth and success of our woodworking team -- someone who can manage their own projects while also overseeing their team. At the end of the day, we want you to help us make our clients' dream homes come to life.

The ideal candidate must be able to build beautiful furniture in a timely manner so that customer timelines are met. In addition to being a great craftsman, candidates should also demonstrate a drive and work ethic that does not require micromanagement.

 

Responsibilities:

• Crafting quality wooden furniture and home accents.

• Operating power tools, machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

• Calling clients for design consults and questions about the project.

• Learning on the go and picking up new skills quickly.

• Paying very high attention to detail.

 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Experience with woodworking. 

• Provide samples / photos of completed projects.

• Any additional trades education a huge plus!

 

Job Type:

• Full-Time (40 hours / week)

 

Pay:

• $30 / hour + efficiency bonuses

 

Schedule:

• Can offer either a 5/8 or 4/10 schedule.

• Monday– Friday, 8:30a.m.– 5:30 p.m.

• Tuesday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

• Occasional hours needed on weekends for deliveries / installs.
